In-person music therapy
In-person music therapy designed to support well-being
In-person music therapy
Each music therapy session is personalized to address specific needs, goals, and medical history. Through guided music therapy interventions – including Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) and Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT™) including interventions such as Melodic Intonation Therapy (MIT) – we support memory, and communication skills, movement, coordination, and overall quality of life.
Sessions last for 50 minutes. During the first meeting, we learn about the client’s history, goals, and musical preferences in order to develop a personalized music therapy approach. In-person sessions may be held at our office or arranged at partner care facilities when appropriate.
